  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.

You will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans that promote independence and skill development. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or supervisor Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and skill acquisition accurately and consistently to inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectivelyAssent Behavioral Services LLC provides compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to support children and families. Position Summary The Registered Behavior Technician works directly with clients to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. This role is ideal for someone patient, motivated, and dedicated to helping children gain meaningful skills. Responsibilities Compassion and patience with children is a requirement Knowledge and experience in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Skills or experience in Behavioral Intervention, DTT NET, PBT, and other naturalistic teaching. Play skills are a must Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with clients, families, and team members A collaborative attitude Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to producing accurate documentation and data collection Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required or the willingness to complete RBT certification training within the specified period Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavior disorders is a plus High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision sessions Follow company policies, safety procedures, and treatment guidelines Strong teaching skills combined with patience and empathy for working with diverse populations affected by behavioral health challenges Compensation Starting compensation is based on experience and ranges from $16.00
