Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity for the 2026-27 school year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students across five school sites near Union Springs, AL. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and is perfect for a BCBA eager to make a significant impact by guiding students and collaborating with dedicated educational staff. You will support a manageable caseload of seven students, offering direct behavioral services and expertise without the current need for RBT supervision. Your contributions will be vital in promoting student success and positive behavioral outcomes throughout multiple school environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience in K-12 school settings or similar youth-focused environments highly preferred Strong assessment, data collection, and behavioral intervention skills Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct BCBA support and individualized behavior intervention strategies for a caseload of seven students Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop effective, evidence-based intervention plans Monitor student progress and maintain compliant, detailed records for each case Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure implementation fidelity Consult with school teams to build capacity around behavior management best practices This contract position offers the chance to work a consistent, weekday schedule for the entire 2026-27 academic year in a supportive educational environment.
