Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a powerful difference in students' lives as a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) serving schools in the Fort Smith area. This contract opportunity invites you to work onsite, directly supporting student success under the guidance of a remote Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your engagement will help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for children and adolescents, offering meaningful and lasting impact every day.
What We're Looking For:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Previous experience in a K-12 school environment is highly valued Active BCBA licensure and relevant hands-on experience (as required by the district) Demonstrated ability to implement behavior intervention plans and collect accurate data Strong collaboration skills, comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary school team Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to supporting student growth
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavior support and intervention to students in the school setting Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to promote behavioral growth and academic achievement Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a remote BCBA Accurately document progress and maintain records as required Participate in team meetings (virtually and onsite) to review strategies and adjust plans for student support Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality at all times This position offers the chance to help students thrive while working alongside passionate professionals.
