Job Description

Overview Training is provided to those looking for a new career! Join our upcoming clinic as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals on the autism spectrum. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support patient care, and collaborate closely with four Board Certificate Behavior Analyst. Your dedication will help foster positive growth, skill development, and independence for those you serve. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA) while working in a supportive, energetic environment committed to excellence. Our clinic will be located within our microschool. We serve clients 5-17 years old. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect accurate data on client progress through systematic observation and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Assist in conducting patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment strategies. Support clients during therapy sessions, providing patient care that emphasizes safety, comfort, and engagement. Maintain detailed medical records, including progress notes, behavior logs, and treatment updates, following all confidentiality protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including special education professionals and behavioral health specialists—to optimize client outcomes. Participate in ongoing training on behavioral therapy techniques, medical terminology, and disability awareness to enhance your skills and knowledge. Skills Willingness to learn new routines and procedures. Able to handle children with maladaptive behaviors and have an 'Act not React' response. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and BCBA. Attention to detail that will be beneficial to medical documentation. Have a love for the development of children.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
