Who We Are Looking For:
Arizona Autism is seeking a motivated Behavior Analyst Mentee (BAM) who is currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in a BCBA-approved graduate program. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on clinical experience, supervised fieldwork hours, and mentorship while working with children with autism
Key Responsibilities Behavior Assessment Support:
Assist the supervising BCBA with initial and ongoing behavioral assessments, including data collection related to Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA). Observe client behavior, document patterns, and support data analysis to monitor progress and inform clinical decisions.
Program Implementation:
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans as written by the supervising BCBA. Carry out behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and teach new skills using evidence-based practices. Ensure interventions are delivered consistently and accurately across sessions.
Data Collection and Documentation:
Collect, record, and graph behavioral data during therapy sessions in accordance with clinical guidelines. Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support treatment evaluation and ongoing program adjustments.
Supervision and Skill Development:
Participate in ongoing supervision and mentorship from a BCBA to build clinical and analytical skills. Incorporate supervisor feedback into daily practice and actively work toward competency development aligned with BCBA certification requirements.
Family and Caregiver Collaboration:
Support families and caregivers by modeling ABA strategies and reinforcing behavior plans during sessions. Communicate observations and progress updates to the supervising BCBA to support family education and consistency across environments.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with RBTs, BCBAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care. Participate in team meetings and trainings as assigned.
Ethical and Professional Compliance:
Deliver services in compliance with BACB ethical guidelines, Arizona state regulations, and company policies. Maintain client confidentiality, professional boundaries, and high standards of ethical conduct at all times.
Documentation :
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress reports. Submit insurance documentation and coordinate with administrative teams to ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.

Graduate Program Requirement:
Must be enrolled in or eligible for enrollment in a BACB-approved Master's degree program and working toward BCBA certification.
