Job description Phoenix Autism Center, a specialty clinic for children with autism and other childhood disorders, is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians/Behavior Technicians to join our growing team. PAC is a family-owned Autism therapy center that offers ABA therapy to children ages 18 months to 6 years old. We do this by integrating the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). As a ABA Therapist/ RBT, your mission will be to utilize the principles of ABA to improve the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will provide behavior therapy to support and encourage growth and skill development. You will assist in the delivery of behavioral and treatment goals. The company has 6 clinic locations around the valley. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Convert delivered sessions within 24 hours of session end Identify and use appropriate antecedent strategies Maintain high-quality, objective session notes Identify ABCs of behavior Key Responsibilities Provide ABA therapy with the support and direction of a BCBA Meet BACB and PAC RBT supervision requirements Collaborate with the treatment team, including other Behavior Technicians, and BCBAs. Maintain professional boundaries per BACB and PAC ethical codes of conduct Demonstrate ability to consistently accept and apply BCBA feedback Work directly with any assigned clients, including sub assignments Actively seek clinical direction and guidance from the supervisor Creatively target goals/programs and activities based on clients' individual interests Delivers 90% or more of scheduled billable hours over the quarter Participate in ongoing training Requirements Must be creative, energetic, playful, and have a natural ability in interacting with children Daily care necessities Reliable Transportation Good analytical/critical thinking skills with the ability to record and track therapy progress Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships High school diploma (relevant college course work in behavioral health field preferred) Registered Behavior Technician certification, BCAT or behavior technician experience Data collection Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance card, CPR & First Aid certification This is an active job. You will have to lift and carry clients. You will be required to move with the client, which means you will be kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods of time. You will have to move quickly to ensure clients are safe. No cost supervision hours! No contract obligation!
