Who We're Looking For Arizona Autism is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Trainer to help develop the next generation of behavior technicians. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive training to aspiring RBTs while ensuring all instruction meets Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards. You'll teach ABA principles, ethical practices, behavior intervention strategies, and data collection while coaching trainees through hands-on learning experiences. Working closely with our BCBAs and clinical leadership, you'll play a key role in preparing new team members for success in the field. What You'll DoTraining & Education Lead structured RBT training programs that align with BACB standards. Teach ABA principles, behavior intervention techniques, data collection, and ethical guidelines. Facilitate classroom instruction, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences. Coaching & Supervision Observe trainees as they practice clinical skills during training sessions and client interactions. Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to build confidence and competency. Identify growth opportunities and support each trainee's professional development. Curriculum Development Develop and maintain training materials that reflect current ABA best practices and BACB requirements. Create engaging learning experiences through simulations, role-playing, and interactive activities. Assessment & Documentation Monitor trainee progress and evaluate readiness for the RBT certification exam. Conduct competency assessments and provide actionable feedback. Ensure trainees complete required training hours and certification requirements. Maintain accurate records of training hours, evaluations, and progress while ensuring compliance with BACB standards. Collaboration Partner with BCBAs and clinical leaders to ensure training remains aligned with organizational goals and industry standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvements within the training program. QualificationsRequired Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an RBT or in a similar ABA role. Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavior intervention strategies, and data collection techniques. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to coach others by providing constructive feedback and ongoing support. Familiarity with BACB requirements and RBT competency assessments. Preferred BCBA certification or significant experience in ABA and behavior therapy. Previous experience training or supervising Behavior Technicians or RBTs. Work Environment This position primarily supports our clinic-based training program, with opportunities to observe trainees in home-based settings as needed. Clinic settings Home settings Occasional travel may be required for field observations or professional development opportunities.

Pay:

$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
