Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. This role is vital in supporting clients' growth, skill development, and independence through evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA). The ideal candidate will be patient, detail-oriented, and committed to improving the quality of life for those they serve. Sessions are 1-5 pm Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using ABA techniques Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately and consistently Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, toileting, and feeding Support clients in developing communication, social, and life skills through teaching strategies Monitor client safety during sessions and ensure a safe environment at all times Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations Prepare and update medical documentation, care plans, and progress reports as required Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment approaches Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, behavior management, and special education techniques Skills Experience with behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques Prior work with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records, and documentation procedures Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to behavior management and progress tracking Excellent teaching skills with a patient-centered approach to care Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality Compassionate communication skills tailored for working with diverse populations including those requiring special education services Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on behavioral health outcomes This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring behavioral support.
