Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician/ Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with Autism/ developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavioral therapy techniques. Your primary focus will be to assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, ensuring the highest level of patient care while fostering a positive environment for growth and learning. Responsibilities Implement behavioral therapy techniques as outlined in treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for each patient. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess individual needs and progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective strategies for patient care. Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities during therapy sessions. Monitor and report on patient behavior, progress, and any changes in condition. Educate families on behavioral strategies and techniques to reinforce learning at home. Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and documentation requirements. Requirements Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of behavioral health practices and principles of behavioral therapy. Familiarity with medical documentation processes and medical records management. Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a patient-centered focus. A genuine passion for helping others achieve their developmental goals.
