In this energetic role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, and self-care routines Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by licensed behavior analysts Support teaching and skill acquisition across various developmental domains, including communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies Support clients during therapy sessions by applying behavioral health principles and managing challenging behaviors effectively Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or other disabilities Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education practices Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral therapy implementation in various settings, including home-based environments Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Experience working within school settings or with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about behavioral health who want to contribute positively to the lives of those they serve.
