Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Embrace a rewarding opportunity to support student success in an educational setting by providing crucial behavioral expertise. A contract position is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work one day each week, offering valuable services and guidance to staff and students.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active BCBA certification required Experience working within school settings supporting students with varying needs Strong assessment, intervention, and data collection skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and administration Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families Familiarity with creating and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop tailored intervention plans Train and support school staff in implementing behavioral interventions and strategies Provide direct and consultative services to address student goals Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data, adjusting strategies based on outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and deliver actionable recommendations Ensure compliance with ethical standards and school policies regarding behavioral support
