In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your dedication will help foster positive behavior change, develop essential life skills, and promote independence in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on approved treatment plans, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect and record accurate data on client progress during each session to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, dressing, and other self-care routines to support independence. Implement behavior management strategies designed by supervising clinicians to encourage positive behaviors and address behavioral challenges effectively. Maintain detailed and confidential medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency across therapeutic environments and support systems. Uphold professional standards by adhering to ethical guidelines, maintaining client confidentiality, and following all safety protocols. Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods. Ability to assist clients with ADLs and implement teaching strategies aligned with individualized care plans. Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance related to medical records. Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients' families and multidisciplinary teams. Patience, compassion, and a proactive attitude toward supporting clients' growth and development. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe is required; ongoing training will be provided for qualified candidates.
