Job Description
- Amergis - School Behavior Technicians (BTs)
- Pay:
- $20-$25/hr DOE
- Locations:
- Cerritos, Bellflower, Artesia, Compton
- Schedules:
- Full-time & Part-time
- ?? Role Overview
- Amergis is hiring
- Behavior Technicians
- to support students with special needs in school settings. BTs work alongside teachers, BCBAs, and related service providers to help students meet behavioral, academic, and developmental goals.
- ?? Responsibilities
- + Follow direction from BCBA, teacher, and supervisor + Implement
- behavior management strategies
- and provide crisis support + Support
- ABA•and IEP goals, including data collection + Assist with academic instruction and
SLP/OT/PT
plans
+ Maintain documentation and confidentiality
+ Support daily living skills (toileting, hygiene, routines)
+ Assist students across school environments
- ?? Requirements
- + High School diploma or equivalent + 2 years pediatric experience preferred + CPR, TB/PPD, health clearance (as applicable) + Understanding of HIPAA & confidentiality + Strong communication skills; English proficiency + Computer literacy + Must be 18
