Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the life of a student this summer by supporting behavioral health in a school setting. This contract opportunity is designed for a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician with a strong background in handling moderate to aggressive behaviors, particularly in elementary-aged children. You'll work one-on-one with a 4th-grade student, utilizing your expertise to guide positive change and help them thrive.
Key Qualifications:
Active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Demonstrated experience with aggressive or challenging behaviors in a school or pediatric environment Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies Proven ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff Excellent communication and de-escalation skills Availability to work onsite for the duration of the contract assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on behavioral support, adhering to individualized plans for a student with moderate behavioral needs Implement reinforcement and intervention strategies to manage aggressive behaviors effectively Track and document behavior data and progress, reporting regularly to the supervising BCBA or school personnel Foster a supportive, structured, and respectful learning environment Participate in ongoing communication and meetings with educational teams to ensure the best care and continuity for the student This is a highly impactful onsite position, providing 30 hours per week from 6/15/26 to 7/30/26.
