Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Technician to provide high-quality, school-based ABA support for students in the El Monte region and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for professionals who are confident working in classroom settings and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support students' behavioral and academic success. As a Behavioral Technician, you will implement behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA, collect accurate data, and help students build meaningful skills that improve independence, communication, and social functioning within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans in school settings
• Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support during the school day
• Collect and document behavior data accurately and consistently
• Utilize evidence-based ABA strategies (e.g., reinforcement, prompting, behavior reduction)
• Collaborate professionally with teachers, aides, and school staff
• Follow all school, district, and company policies and procedures
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and families as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Behavioral Technician (school-based experience strongly preferred)
• RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience working with children with autism or other developmental needs
• Ability to manage behaviors in fast-paced classroom environments
• Reliable transportation to school sites in El Monte and surrounding areas
• Must be available during standard school hours (morning through early afternoon)
• High school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework in related field preferred)
