Hiring Behavioral Technician - $24-$27/hr DOE - Weekly Pay!

• Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking skilled and experienced Behavior Technicians to support K-12 students in local school districts.

This role offers a steady daytime schedule, consistent placement at one school site, and immediate start dates for qualified candidates. Positions are available for the current school year and are expected to continue into the following school year for strong performers.

• Position Summary
• We are seeking professionals with strong behavioral support experience who can confidently implement behavior strategies, collaborate with school staff, and support students with diverse needs throughout the school day.
• Pay & Schedule
• + $24-$27/hour (based on experience and credentials) + Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-3:00 PM + School-based only — no evenings, weekends, or home cases + Weekly pay via direct deposit + Opportunities to continue into the next academic year
• Responsibilities
• + Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support + Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with fidelity + Support IEP-related goals and accommodations + Collect accurate behavior data + Maintain positive, structured learning environments + Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and BCBAs + Demonstrate calm, professional responses to challenging behaviors
• Qualifications
• + Experience as a Behavior Technician, Paraprofessional, or similar role + Strong understanding of behavior intervention and classroom support + Experience in K-12 settings + Professional, dependable, and team-oriented + High school diploma or equivalent (higher education a plus) + Able to meet district onboarding/clearance requirements + RBT certification preferred but not required
• Minimum Requirements
• + High school diploma or equivalent required + Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
