- Surrounding Areas Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced, school-based Behavior Technicians to support K-12 students across local districts.
These roles offer a steady daytime schedule , placement at a single school site , and immediate start dates for qualified candidates. Strong performers may continue into the next academic year. Position Summary We are looking for dependable, skilled professionals with strong behavioral support experience who can confidently implement intervention strategies, collaborate with school teams, and assist students with diverse behavioral needs throughout the school day. Compensation & Schedule $22
- 27/hour (based on experience and credentials) Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-2:00 PM School-based only — no evenings, weekends, or home-based cases Weekly pay via direct deposit Immediate openings available Opportunities to continue into the next school year Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support to students Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with fidelity Support IEP-aligned goals, accommodations, and behavior strategies Collect accurate and timely behavior data Maintain structured, positive learning environments Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and BCBAs Respond to challenging behaviors with calm, professional conduct Qualifications Experience as a Behavior Technician , Paraprofessional , or similar role Strong understanding of behavior intervention and classroom support Prior experience in K-12 educational settings Professional, reliable, and team-oriented High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred) Ability to meet district onboarding and clearance requirements RBT certification preferred but not required Why Amergis Dedicated recruiter support with school-based expertise Predictable daytime schedule Opportunities to expand your skills and grow your school-based experience Meaningful work supporting students who benefit from experienced, compassionate professionals ?
