In this role, you will work closely with Vietnamese individuals requiring behavioral support, implementing therapeutic interventions under the guidance of certified professionals. Your primary focus will be to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for those you serve. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by supervisors. Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate documentation and data collection. Effective communication with client and their primary caregivers as well as with team members. Collaborate with supervisor to assess behavioral needs of client. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral health practices. Proficiency in Vietnamese and English is a must to serve a primarily Vietnamese-speaking clientele. Required Qualifications and Experience Must be bilingual in Vietnamese and English. This is an essential function of the role to ensure effective communication and service delivery for a specific client assignment. Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in active and good standing with the BACB. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have already received 30 hours of competency-based training by a certified behavior analyst; OR an associate's degree A minimum of 6 months previous experience working with physically aggressive persons with developmental disabilities is a must. Candidates must have documented experience and training in safely implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities who may exhibit physically aggressive behaviors. Current certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), Safety-Care, or other approved behavioral safety management program. Must have prior experience working with clients who engage in physically challenging behaviors. Proven ability to implement safety protocols and de-escalation techniques is required. Understanding of behavioral health principles and interventions. Be able to provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in Vietnamese and English Communicate program goals and progress with Vietnamese-speaking family members.

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
