Behavior Therapist (RBT preferred)

ASC is hiring part-time and full-time staff for Behavior Therapists / Registered Behavior Technician positions in Irvine, Newport Beach, Fountain Valley and surrounding Orange County cities. Travel required within 25 miles of company headquarters. Why is ASC the right company for you? The initial training includes the 40+ hour training which meets criteria for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Instruction covers Applied Behavior Analysis, discrete trial teaching, behavior management, social skills development, and data collection techniques. Not only will you receive online training, you will also receive initial training live from our BCBA's! We provide "Treatment with Heart" and strive to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families affected by autism. We've been in business since 1998 and we're still privately owned by 2 women (no corporate investors)! You will work alongside highly trained 1:1 therapists, case supervisors, clinical directors, psychologists, marriage and family therapists and researchers. We develop and implement individualized treatment programs to promote skill acquisition and reduction of maladaptive behaviors. Responsibilities and Duties ABA therapists are trained to implement 1:1 behavior intervention programs across settings (homes, schools and in various community settings). Therapeutic techniques utilized include DTT, Natural Environment Training and social skills training You will collaborate and engage with behavior treatment teams and get specific feedback from the supervisors on teaching strategies and reductive behavior techniques. ABA therapists also collect data to demonstrate each client's progress toward reaching his or her goals on a company-issued iPad. We have morning, mid-day and afternoon shifts available. The Behavior Therapist will be assigned to clients located in Irvine, California and surrounding Orange County cities including: Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Tustin, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Rancho Santa Margarita, Orange, Yorba Linda, Anaheim, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, and Brea.
