Weekday Afternoon/Evening (2:30•7:00 PM) and Saturday Morning (9:00 AM•2:00 PM) Highly prefer candidates with the above availability only Join a Supportive Clinical ABA Team Cogleap is seeking experienced, dependable, and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our clinical team in Irvine. This position requires a minimum of one year of direct experience providing ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental needs. We are looking for candidates who already understand the responsibilities of direct ABA service delivery, including implementing treatment plans, collecting data, managing client behaviors appropriately, maintaining professional documentation, and working under BCBA supervision. This is primarily a clinical, center-based ABA position, offering a structured and collaborative environment with access to BCBAs, clinical coaching, and team support. What You Will Do Provide direct one-on-one ABA services to children with autism and related developmental needs. Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA. Teach communication, social, play, daily living, and independence skills. Collect accurate clinical data and complete session documentation on time. Apply reinforcement, prompting, redirection, and behavior-management strategies appropriately. Respond safely and professionally to challenging behaviors. Collaborate with BCBAs and other clinical team members. Maintain consistent attendance and reliable client coverage. Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and families. Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging clinical environment. Why Join Cogleap? Minimum Qualifications CPR Certification High school diploma or equivalent Must meet all background-check, health, and employment requirements. At least one full year of direct BT or RBT experience in an ABA setting is required. Experience collecting clinical data and completing session notes. Experience must include direct implementation of ABA treatment plans with children with autism or related developmental disabilities. Familiarity with reinforcement, prompting, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and professional boundaries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to accept feedback and follow BCBA clinical direction. Ability to remain calm, professional, and safe when responding to challenging behaviors. Preferred Qualifications Active RBT certification Two or more years of ABA experience Clinical center-based ABA experience. Experience with moderate or higher behavioral support needs. Interest in long-term professional growth within ABA or behavioral health. Experience with communication, social skills, adaptive living, or group-based programs.
