What You'll Do Implement Behavior Plans:
Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA .
Behavioral Support Strategies:
Utilize behavior-analytic strategies such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Naturalistic Teaching, and Reinforcement Techniques to support clients.
Data Collection & Documentation:
Accurately track client progress and submit session notes in compliance with UTC policies.
Client Engagement:
Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to encourage skill development and behavior improvement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers to ensure consistency in intervention across all settings.
Challenging Behaviors:
Manage and address challenging behaviors according to individualized behavior plans and training.
Confidentiality & Professionalism:
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
Ongoing Training:
Participate in required training and continuing education opportunities to improve skills and knowledge. Schedule Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Morning / Afternoon availability Requirements High School Diploma or GED (Required) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Preferred, but not required) Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (Preferred) Ability to pass a background check and TB test (Required) Reliable transportation to client locations (Required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Bilingual, Spanish speaking (Preferred).
