Paid Training Location:

Mission Viejo and Orange County Responsibilities As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in achieving their goals through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Implement Behavior Plans:

Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising

BCBA Behavioral Support Strategies:

Utilize behavior-analytic strategies such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Naturalistic Teaching, and Reinforcement Techniques to support clients

Data Collection & Documentation:

Accurately track client progress and submit session notes in compliance with UTC policies

Client Engagement:

Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to encourage skill development and behavior improvement

Collaboration:

Work closely with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers to ensure consistency in intervention across all settings

Challenging Behaviors:

Manage and address challenging behaviors according to individualized behavior plans and training

Confidentiality & Professionalism:

Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:
