California Self-Determination Program Cal Bear Consulting LLC is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our provider network as an independent contractor . This role is part of California's Self-Determination Program (SDP) and involves supporting an adult with developmental disabilities, autism, in Monrovia California. This is a great opportunity for BCBAs looking for flexible, meaningful work with the autonomy to apply their clinical expertise in a community-based setting. Weekend availability is also possible , allowing for added flexibility.

Service Hours:
up to 20 hours/month - BCBA consultation
Compensation:
$75 per billable hour (based on experience)

Schedule:
Flexible scheduling with potential for weekday and weekend hours
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) Develop individualized, ABA-based treatment plans focused on skill-building and behavior reduction Create program materials such as visuals, task analyses, and data collection systems Supervise and train direct support staff and family caregivers Analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and other professionals Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation (treatment plans, notes, data)
Requirements:
Active BCBA certification in good standing Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field At least 1 year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities Strong foundation in ABA principles and practical applications Reliable transportation to provide in-person services in Montovia Ca Must be able to pass federal and state background checks Must obtain professional liability insurance (cost of first year is fully reimbursed)
Preferred:
Knowledge of California's Self-Determination Program (SDP) Experience training and supervising direct support staff and families Knowledge of working with adults with previous mental health concerns Working with various family dynamics Prescribing treatment plans Knowledge of general data collection application software programs Knowledge of report writing that is regional center and DDS compliant.
