Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Take on a dynamic and rewarding contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting an elementary school district near Palmdale, CA for the entire 2026-27 academic year. This full-time, itinerant position puts your skills to work across multiple campuses, collaborating closely with educators and support professionals to help students achieve lasting success. Expect a schedule aligned with standard school hours (37.5-40 hours weekly), and compensation based on experience ranging from $55-$65 per hour.
Key Qualifications:
Active, valid BCBA certification in good standing from the BACB Minimum of 1 year of recent school-based BCBA experience Crisis intervention and de-escalation training Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities Demonstrated passion for promoting positive student outcomes Reliable transportation to fulfill itinerant responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create/monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, psychologists, social workers, fellow BCBAs, and administration Provide ongoing behavioral support for student cases across the spectrum from mild to severe Offer consultation to school teams, empowering staff to implement effective behavioral strategies
