Female ABA-based Behavior Technician (BT) in Palmdale/Lancaster $23-$28/hr Beyond Brighter Minds - 1.0 Palmdale, CA Job Details Part-time $23 - $28 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid training Flexible schedule Qualifications RBT Certification Teamwork Applied behavior analysis Direct behavioral therapy Bachelor's degree Behavioral support plan implementation Child & youth therapy Full Job Description Duties and Responsibilities of RBT, not limited to the following: Provide in-home ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy for children with developmental delay at clinical rate. Implement ABA goals as they are written by the supervisor using behavior analytic principles. Be able to give, receive, and implement feedback. Collect and record behavior data and client's progress in real time on data sheets. Transfer data on client's google drive within 24 hours of session. Turn in physical data sheets to Putri at the end of session. If BT is not local, arrange to send data sheets by mail or courier. Record, collect, and summarize observable child behavior Help the child gain confidence to socialize, communicate, play, learn and improve mentally. Be ambitious, determined to reach goals, and open to learning new things through our training programs. Believe in cooperation and teamwork. Be able to show creativity, kindness, nurture, and patience. Maintain clients' confidentiality. Be punctual, polite and professional. Attend clinical and administrative training at training rate. Approach parent before session to inquire about specific events of the day (did client sleep well, how did he do in school) Approach parents after the session to give only a recap about the session but NOT a clinical recommendation. Refer parents to the supervisor if they have questions about progress or concerns. Communicate client's progress to the supervisor. Attend monthly staff meeting Attend clinical meetings when scheduled. Be proactive to seek help from the supervisor. Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness. Maintain professional appearance (brush hair, keep hair away from face, no jewelry or watch that can be removed by client)
