In-home & Center ABA therapy Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is expanding our team and looking for individuals who are ready to turn compassion into action. As a Behavior Technician , you'll have the opportunity to work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Each session focuses on helping your client make progress toward individualized goals, which may include communication, social skills, behavior, and greater independence with everyday activities. We provide paid training, ongoing mentorship, and clinical support to help you learn Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and develop the skills needed to succeed in the role. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism and other developmental disabilities learn meaningful skills that support greater independence in their everyday lives. Through personalized, engaging sessions, Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children to strengthen communication, social, play, coping, and daily living skills. Using positive reinforcement and individualized strategies, they also help children develop safer and more effective ways to navigate challenging behaviors. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in: Psychology Child Development Education Social Work Behavioral Health Special Education Speech or Occupational Therapy Nursing and Healthcare What You'll Do As a Behavior Technician, you will: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress Communicate professionally with families and caregivers Attend ongoing training and team meetings
Typical Sessions:
