Teaching Full Job Description Role Summary:
We are seeking dependable, energetic professionals who are ready to make a measurable impact. As a Behavior Technician, you will deliver consistent 1:1 in-home ABA services to children with Autism and help them build essential communication, social, and daily living skills through structured, play-based teaching. This role requires reliability, professionalism, patience, and a firm commitment to your assigned clients. No prior ABA experience is required; we provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role, you are expected to: Deliver consistent 1:1 in-home support to children with Autism using engaging, play-based ABA teaching strategies. Follow individualized treatment plans accurately and work under the direct guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect accurate session data and support measurable progress in communication, social skills, independence, and daily living activities. Respond professionally to a range of client needs and behaviors while maintaining patience, safety, and consistency during every session. Arrive on time, maintain dependable attendance, communicate promptly, and honor the schedule committed to each client. Selected candidates must successfully complete our structured training and certification process: 40-hour online course to build foundational ABA knowledge. 3 days of hands-on, in-person training to practice techniques with expert guidance. Direct observation and feedback from experienced BCBAs to refine your skills. RBT exam preparation and support to help you meet certification expectations. Upon obtaining your RBT certification, your pay will increase to $26 per hour.
Non Negotiable Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance. Own Reliable transportation is non-negotiable for this in-home role. Must have full and consistent availability from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Must have experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, older adults, or another vulnerable population; OR be currently enrolled in a related college program such as education, child development, psychology, nursing, or a similar field.
