Ideal candidate is a highly dependable Behaviorist with experience working with special needs individuals (experience with adults is preferable) to work with our family and team of providers. Client participates in a full, rich schedule of classes and as he exits the school system, we are looking to coordinate and carry through the Behavior Plan, adapt tools from school program to home and community. We are looking for guidance in settings-up visual schedules, structure and behavior supports. The client and family anticipate setting up an equally full and rich schedule of activities including: adult day program participation, physical workouts and hikes, job skills training, volunteer opportunities, art and music classes and social activities. The client will need 1:1 supports who would benefit from a program and plan with goals, objectives and data collection moving forward. None of this needs to go through insurance. It will be your program to help create for the client and family. The client has experienced significant progress in their current school placement and wants to continue with private supports through adulthood. Assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals with developmental disabilities have been conducted be certified agency and are available for review. Key activities of the position include: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plan based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track client progress and inform treatment adjustments. Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to each client's unique needs, fostering skill development and reducing problematic behaviors. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across settings and optimize outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records, treatment documentation, and HIPAA-compliant patient files in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Support in-take processes by reviewing initial assessments and coordinating services with assessment agencies. Experience Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or actively pursuing certification as a BCBA Candidate with eligibility to sit for the exam within designated timeframe. Demonstrated experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods. Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical documentation practices related to behavioral health. Experience working within HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality and security of medical records. Prior involvement in special education settings or behavioral health clinics highly desirable.
