Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role as a Registered Behavior Technician for a rewarding contract position supporting students throughout the 2025-2026 school year. As a vital team member in a dedicated school community near San Mateo, CA, you will contribute to student success in a Satellite Program, working closely with up to 28 students across different classrooms. This full-time opportunity includes consistent hours from 8:30 am to 3 pm daily, allowing for a balanced routine. You'll have the chance to start as soon as possible and make a difference through June 5, 2026. Desired Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred Strong communication skills and patience Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students across classrooms Adaptability and a proactive approach to varied daily routines
Key Responsibilities:
Provide behavioral support during instructional times and lunch periods, assisting across classrooms in the Satellite Program Implement behavioral intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Model and reinforce positive behaviors to promote students' personal and academic development Collect and record accurate data related to student behaviors Support classroom teachers and help foster a welcoming, inclusive school environment Here, your expertise has a direct impact each and every day, ensuring students receive the tailored support they need to thrive.
