Registered Behavior Technician

Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Equivalent to graduation from high school and/or any combination of experience and training to provide the required knowledge and skill. An AA degree, or 2 years equivalence of acceptable college coursework, or successful passage of an acceptable rigorous assessment is highly preferred. Experience with specialized populations with behavior needs
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification, or willingness to obtain and maintain registration as Behavior Technician within the 4 months of hire into the position
- 40 hours Registered Behavior Technician Training;
- Must pass an Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test with a score of 75% or higher in the areas of Math, Reading and Writing, or provide High School Proficiency verification;
- Possess a valid California driver's license and maintain insurability.
- Transport students from time to time as required, in a district vehicle.
