Job Description
About the job Do you enjoy working at one campus with no driving and working with a caring and motivated team? Do you want to work with awesome students facing some learning and behavioral challenges? If your answer is yes, then we want you on our team! Client is seeking an enthusiastic BCBA
- School Behavior Analyst to provide behavioral support and program development at our high school campus located in Sunnyvale CA.
Qualifications:
Education- Must possess a MA/MS degree in the field of Behavior Analysis or related field. Certifications
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB. Experience
- Should have at least 2 years experience working with the special needs population. Required Skills Communication Skills
- The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to be creative, and enthusiastic. The candidate must actively participate in meetings with Teachers, parents, and other staff. Collaboration and team work are critical skills. Management and Organizational Skills
- This position requires strong organizational skills with the ability to develop/implement written treatment directions and collect and interpret numeric data. Candidate must possess the skills to effectively train a team of employees. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in understanding behavior (ABA) for program development and implementation is required.
Physical Requirements:
Pushing and Pulling, Lifting- Must be able to lift and or push at least 35lbs. Twisting and Turning
- Due to the high activity of the program this position requires the individual to be able to physically bend, squat, reach over shoulders, reach over head, reach outward, kneel, sit, walk, run on normal, slippery, or uneven surfaces and stand. Student Behaviors
- Must be able to follow all Safety Care Procedures when needed (Training provided). Office Work
- This position requires the following office work: Keyboard, Mouse, Repetitive Motion of Hands.
