In this temporary role, you'll provide essential behavioral support and guidance within a supportive educational environment near Watsonville, CA.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Experience working with school-aged children or within an educational setting preferred Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans Strong collaboration skills; able to consult and train school staff, teachers, and families Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Commitment to upholding ethical standards and best practices in applied behavior analysis
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct behavioral assessments and data analysis to identify student needs Design, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and behavior support plans Collaborate regularly with educators, school administrators, and families Provide ongoing training and support for school staff and paraprofessionals Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in accordance with program requirements Support crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed to promote a safe learning environment
