Job Description
The ABRITE Organization The ABRITE Organization is seeking part-time Behavior Technician (otherwise known as Behavior Interventionists or Registered Behavior Technicians) to provide behavioral intervention with children 1 to 18 years of age in Santa Cruz County. Services are delivered in the home, center, preschools and community settings. Hiring for Part time Afternoons - 1:00pm-7:00pm, 1:00pm-5:00pm, or 3:00-7:00pm availability. Spanish speaking is preferred but not required

Paid activities for all cancelled sessions Medical Benefits for Full Time employees BACB Supervision available for those who qualify Please see the following video link to listen to two of our current team members talking about our initial training: https://youtu.be/0SaYUw7LLas Details of the position: The position entails delivering 1:1 behavioral instruction to the children in our program in their natural environment, after extensive initial and ongoing training on the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our RBTs are taught to deliver teaching across developmental domains while taking data on all learning targets with the overall goal to increase skills while decreasing problem behaviors that interfere with learning. After training, all behavior technicians who meet performance criteria can sit for the RBT exam (with reimbursement for 1 test fee). If the exam is passed within 90 days of employment, employees will be eligible for a promotion and increased compensation.What We Seek:
Interested in learning about ABA Energetic person who enjoys working with children. Reliable, responsible individual who enjoys working with a team of professionals Interested in a career path in education, psychology, or teaching Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 pounds. Spanish speaking is a plus, but not a requirement. Driving is a key requirement for this position to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role. As such, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance may be required, particularly in situations where alternate modes of transportation are either unavailable or not deemed reasonable.
