Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a genuine impact by providing essential behavioral support to K-12 students across a vibrant community. This contract position offers a dynamic itinerant schedule—serving as a valued floater, you'll work at various schools and gain broad experience while supporting students' growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavioral interventions in classroom settings for students with behavioral needs. Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to implement effective behavior plans. Support the development of positive student behaviors and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. Collect data and monitor student progress to inform education and behavioral strategies. Adapt your approach for students ranging from kindergarten to high school, addressing diverse needs. Communicate professionally with educators, administrators, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) initial training course OR Multiple years' experience supporting students with intensive behavioral needs in a classroom setting. Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional experience strongly preferred. Ability to travel between various school sites as an onsite-only behavioral support professional. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability working in dynamic learning environments. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills essential for working with diverse education teams.
