Full Job Description Salary:
$85,000-$95,000 + $8k average annual bonus Who is Ascend? Ascend Behavior Partners is a different kind of Autism Care Provider focused on a team approach. We proudly offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with play-based natural environment teaching in collaboration with our Family and Psychological Services in Arizona and Colorado. This interdisciplinary team approach is the best way to support our mission of partnering with families to build a strong foundation for their children in early childhood and beyond. Overview of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA): The position is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who enjoys focusing on early interventions and verbal behavior in a home based environment. Our BCBAs live out their mission to provide meaningful and impactful therapy to every client they serve.
A Glimpse into the duties:
Consulting with new families to determine the appropriateness of Ascend's services Performing assessments, including interviewing families, analyzing initial results, and reviewing prior medical reports Writing individualized programs based on the results of the assessments Compassionately communicating assessment results and recommended prescription amount Serving clients in a home based environment Empowering Registered Behavior Technicians with timely feedback and development opportunities Maximizing client outcomes with consistent parent training and Comply with all company policies and procedures, regulatory requirements of payors and governing entities, including the BACB Do you check these boxes? Credentialed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst by the BACB for 2-3 years Experience working as a BCBA in a home based environment Passionate working with children with special needs (Autism preferred) ages 1-8 Skilled and comfortable utilizing technology in support of your RBTs and clients daily Developed skill acquisition and behavior support plans with proven, measurable improvement across metrics Expertise in Natural Environment Teaching, Verbal Behavior, Incidental Teaching Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention Empathetic approach to difficult conversations with families Outstanding verbal/written communication with families, your team, and other providers Dedicated to evidence-based treatment and ethical process Accelerate your clients' clinical outcomes using state of the art technology A lifelong learner with a growth-oriented mindset Reliable transportation; able to travel to our clients' location in Englewood consistently and locally as needed Able to pass a background check and qualified to work in the US The Benefits of an Ascender Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Time off for rest and recharge is essential to you and the organization's success.
