May 18th, June 1st, June 15th. Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! We're looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to work one-on-one with children ages 2-18. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting difference in their lives through both in-center sessions, with the option for in-home or school-based support. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll help implement structured, research-based behavior plans and skill development programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll support children in decreasing maladaptive behaviors and replacing them with positive, adaptive behaviors—while also fostering communication, social, and independent life skills.
What You'll Do:
Deliver one-on-one sessions tailored to each child's needs in various settings (center, home, or school). As a RBT you will implement treatment plans focused on building essential skills like communication, social interaction, peer relationships, and life skills. Help children develop independence by replacing challenging behaviors with positive, functional alternatives using positive reinforcement. Collect session data and document progress to support ongoing assessments and adjustments to treatment plans.

SCHEDULE
Full time: 35-40 hrs/ week.
Part time:
20-29 hrs/wk positions available. Flexible with student schedules
  • Morning (8-12), afternoon (12-4), and evening (4-7) blocks
  • Please note that there are a few required training you must attend regardless of availability. If you are unable to attend these trainings you may not be offered this position. PAY Training

We offer a 4-week PAID intensive training, and ensure our staff feel confident working with any of our kiddos We support all types of kiddos in our center, with a large age range of 2-18, who exhibit all kinds of behaviors, furthering our abilities to apply intervention practices to kiddos of all needs We supply tablets for clinical use, RBT's do not have to buy their own for this position We cover drive time and mileage reimbursement for any driving outside of the center We offer Parent's Night Out, Sibling Night, etc. for our families to utilize We offer protected scheduled hours for full time staff and good standing We offer monthly company provided meals We have a RBT level system that offers increase in pay, and new responsibilities for RBT's so there are more opportunities for growth We have a Candidate Program that provides free supervision hours for those in their Master's Program, planning to become BCBA's We offer university partnership that offer school discount rates We are proud of our open communication with staff, and seek feedback and solutions to any problems that may come up We offer paid CEU's per BACB requirements What is an RBT? RBT's conduct one-on-one sessions with clients ages 2-18, diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. Our clinical goals are to improve independence and increase quality of life for our kiddos by using positive reinforcement to shape appropriate behaviors, as well as improve peer, social, communication, coping, and independent life skills. You will have your own caseload of kiddos you will see on a weekly basis, with a reoccurring schedule.
IS THIS POSITION CHALLENGING?
It can be, yes! This position challenges you to have an open mind. This position requires you to utilize the training to understand a child's behavior and the way they learn best, and to manage unwanted behaviors such as aggression, tantrums, self-injurious behaviors, and so on. You may work with non-verbal kiddos who communicate in different ways. It is an energetic position where you are on your feet a lot.

UNAVAILABLE?
This role will REQUIRE you to pass a physical. Pre-employment screening is required prior to hire and is indicative of the daily physical responsibilities required of the RBT role. Can you meet ALL physical Requirements listed:
  • Ability to lift/push/pull, repetitively, 45 pounds to carry, lift and/or physically prompt a client through the center (or other area of attendance) to the appropriate area throughout the work day (4+ hours daily)
  • Manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions
  • Visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices and paper means
  • Ability to speak with proper pronunciation, diction and intonation
  • Ability to listen to and comprehend different rates of speech
  • Ability to provide feedback on appropriate pronunciation, diction and intonation
