Job description Home/Community Child Behavior Support Behavior Technician Positive Behavior Services of the Four Corners is seeking exceptional individuals that enjoy working with individuals with diagnosed behavior needs, such as autism, developmental disabilities, and other diagnoses in Durango and surrounding areas. High school diploma is required and experience in working with this population is preferred. Hiring in Cortez and Montrose. Training provided! Starting wage is $16.50-$17.50/hr for entry level with some experience, $18-20+/hr RBT and/or BA with experience in the field with opportunities for professional growth in the company. A 40 hour training course is required for hire, and will be completed during the training phase. After completion and exam you will have a National certificate as a Registered Behavior Technician. As a behavior technician you will provide applied behavior interventions and programs in a 1:1 setting with clients. You may provide these services in the clients home, out in the community, at their school, or in clinic (please note that the Montrose area will be in home, school or community only, no clinic setting). We are a naturalistic ABA provider meaning that we utilize the clients natural environment to incorporate ABA programs for skill acquisition and maladaptive behavior modification.
