In this energetic role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), providing direct support to clients in their homes, schools, or community settings. Your passion for helping children thrive, combined with your bilingual Spanish skills, will empower families and foster positive developmental progress. Duties Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols to support children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence and skill development Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Support behavior management strategies by applying positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior intervention plans Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers in both English and Spanish to provide updates, guidance, and support on behavior strategies Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring all medical documentation and records are accurate, complete, and secure Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential for effective client communication and family engagement Experience working with children, especially those with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders, is highly preferred Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention strategies in various settings including home-based environments Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach toward clients and their families Prior experience working within special education or school environments is a plus Join us in creating positive change through dedicated behavioral health services!
