Registered Behavior Technician

Part time hours (15 hours per week) Monday through Friday 1-4PM We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with ASD and their families.

Duties:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using various data collection methods
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, including session notes, behavior tracking sheets, and incident reports
• Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors
• Support clients in developing social skills, communication skills, and daily living skills
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information

Requirements:

• Experience working with individuals with special needs
• Comfortability within working in a client's home
