Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a welcoming school environment near Bridgeport, CT. This contract opportunity runs through June 18th, giving you a clear timeline to make an immediate, positive impact on young learners. Work closely with students, teachers, and families to promote academic and social-emotional growth for an elementary caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, active and in good standing Experience working with elementary-age students, preferably in a school setting Strong knowledge of behavior assessment tools, intervention plans, and data analysis Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families Ability to develop, implement, and adjust individualized behavior plans
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and collaborate with teachers to identify student needs Design and oversee evidence-based behavior intervention plans for elementary students Support classroom teams with training and modeling of behavioral strategies Monitor, analyze, and report on student progress using data-driven methods Attend relevant team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary discussions Maintain clear documentation compliant with school, district, and ethical standards
