Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this engaging position, you will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans that promote meaningful progress. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients' developmental goals Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately and consistently to inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence Support teaching strategies designed to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in children and individuals with autism Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, learning, and behavioral health stability Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies effectively Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress and behavior patterns Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and maintaining accurate medical records Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and team members Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient care and behavior management excellence This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about making a positive impact through specialized behavioral health support. Pay:
$24.81 - $28.90 per hour
