Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a Behavior Technician, working with students on the Autism Spectrum and those facing behavioral challenges in a dynamic, supportive educational environment near Hartford, CT. You'll collaborate with dedicated colleagues and make a lasting difference in the lives of students, providing essential 1:1 and classroom support. This full-time contract position is ideal for compassionate professionals eager to build upon their Registered Behavior Technician certification and prior special education experience. What you'll bring: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification At least 2 years of experience in behavioral support or special education settings Paraprofessional skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach Ability to deliver both individual and small group behavioral interventions Strong communication abilities for working with teachers, therapists, and families Your responsibilities will include: Providing direct 1:1 behavioral support for students on the Autism Spectrum Assisting in classrooms to promote positive behavioral strategies and learning engagement Collaborating with educators and support staff to create individualized intervention plans Tracking student progress and documenting behavioral data Maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a welcoming rapport with students In addition to the competitive compensation ranging from $18 to $24 per hour, enjoy access to insurance and 401k benefits.
