Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-2:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral and educational support to a high school student in a special education program near Norwich, Connecticut. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized 1:1 behavioral and educational support to a high school student. Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs under the direction of a qualified supervisor. Support students in developing communication, social, adaptive, academic, and independent-living skills. Provide behavioral support within a special education classroom and during group activities. Collect and accurately document behavioral and skill-acquisition data. Follow established classroom, behavioral, and safety procedures. Assist with transitions, classroom routines, and participation in school activities. Required Qualifications Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or ability to obtain/maintain RBT certification as required for the position. Completion of the applicable RBT training and competency requirements. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to successfully complete required background checks and any school-required clearances. Experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults with special education needs. Experience in special education is required or strongly preferred. Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior intervention strategies, and data collection.
