Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director at each school site, the BCBA independently provides school-based behavioral assessment and intervention, consultation, training, and supervision (when appropriate) to students attending the Bradley Schools and staff working with those students. BCBAs consistently apply our corporate values and success factors in improving the health status of the people of the region through the provision of customer-friendly, geographically accessible, and high-value services within the environment of a comprehensive integrated academic health system. Our BCBAs… Participate actively in the behavioral assessment and intervention planning of Bradley School students. Consult other professionals to address the behavioral and social-emotional learning needs of students. May serve as treatment team leaders for Bradley School classrooms or behavioral coordinators/specialists overseeing classroom-based staff and general milieu functioning. These roles involve some training and supervision of staff depending on the role. May provide supervision of graduate-level trainees enrolled in BCBA programs, as assigned or supervise and manage RBTs. Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and practices. Provide effective leadership, as well as guidance and support, to their assigned teams, as needed or requested. Provide behavioral trainings for school staff during inservice and training days. Requirements Requires a minimum of a Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from an accredited school. Board certification as a BCBA by the Behavior Analytic Certification Board (BACB). Licensure by the RI or CT Department of Health as an Applied Behavior Analyst Requires demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to school-aged youth, with consideration of developmental processes, as well as cultural, familial, and individual factors that may influence educational, emotional, and behavioral functioning and progress. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a clinical and/or school setting is highly preferred. Experience with the assessment and treatment planning of individuals who present with behavioral and learning challenges. One to two years of specialized clinical experience with children and adolescents preferred.
