POSITION SUMMARY
The BCBA pre-certified behavior analyst who delivers behavior analytic services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Associate BCBA applies the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support student growth, conduct functional behavior assessments, interpret data, and contribute to multidisciplinary decision-making across school settings.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs). Conduct skill-based assessments. Design skill acquisition programs. Design behavior reduction programs. Assist in developing behavior support plans and behavioral programming. Make recommendations regarding interventions. Assist in development of training materials and behavioral systems. Participate in multidisciplinary decision-making regarding student programming. Write progress summaries, clinical notes, and behavior reports. Engage in literature review and behavior analytic research related to programming.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, or a related field required. Currently enrolled in a BACB-approved graduate program. Actively accruing supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification. Experience conducting behavior assessments and developing, implementing, and monitoring behavioral interventions under the supervision of a BCBA preferred. Experience working with students with disabilities and/or social-emotional-behavioral needs preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Commitment to maintaining supervision requirements and annual recertification requirements in accordance with BACB standards. Ability to meet physical requirements associated with student support and crisis intervention procedures.
