Job Description
Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity and leverage your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within an engaging school setting. This role supports students across grades K-8, working between two closely situated schools serving students in both elementary (K-5) and middle school (6-8th) environments. With a caseload of approximately 40 students, each classroom is structured with 5-6 students, ensuring personalized attention and the chance to make a meaningful impact. You'll collaborate within a robust support network that includes dedicated social workers, experienced Behavior Technicians (BTs)/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and specialized educators, making this an ideal environment to focus on what you do best—empowering staff and enhancing student outcomes.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred Strong background in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) Demonstrated ability to lead trainings and provide ongoing consultation to staff Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skillsKey Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive training and support to BTs, boosting classroom effectiveness Conduct FBAs to assess student needs and develop intervention strategies Offer expert consultation to teams of teachers, BTs, and related service providers Foster positive learning environments through program oversight and staff development Focus exclusively on staff and programmatic support with no direct 1:1 student responsibilities You'll thrive in a dynamic team atmosphere with opportunities to influence best practices and set the standard for exceptional behavioral support.
