Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Bring your passion for behavioral analysis to a rewarding, short-term assignment supporting students in a vibrant school community near Norwich, CT. This contract opportunity is perfect for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with proven experience in educational settings and a commitment to making a meaningful difference over the summer.
Position Details:
Assignment dates: July 7 - July 30 (Mondays-Thursdays, no Fridays) Daily hours: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Caseload:
Pre-K through 8th grade, providing essential behavioral support and interventions
Environment:
Collaborative school setting focused on student success and well-being Potential for contract renewal
Key Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification required Previous experience working in schools is essential Strong understanding of evidence-based intervention strategies and data-driven decision-making Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Capable of developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior plans
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and create tailored behavioral intervention plans Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student progress Train and support school staff in implementing behavior management strategies Monitor and document student outcomes, making data-informed adjustments as needed Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for students across Pre-K-8th grades This opportunity gives you the flexibility to focus on student impact with a manageable, consistent schedule (no Fridays!), while potentially paving the way for future assignments.
