This position is primarily school-based and is ideal for a BCBA who enjoys collaborating with educators and related service providers while providing individualized, evidence-based behavioral support. Responsibilities Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized, function-based treatment and behavior support plans. Provide BCBA consultation and supervision within the school setting. Develop and oversee individualized ABA programming targeting communication, social, behavioral, and functional skills. Train and support teachers, paraeducators, and school support staff on implementation of behavioral strategies. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and guide clinical decision-making. Collaborate with teachers, school personnel, families, and related service providers. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute behavior-analytic recommendations to support student success across the school day. Qualifications Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification & CT LBA Experience working with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities. Strong knowledge of ABA, functional assessment, behavior intervention, skill acquisition, and data analysis. Strong communication, collaboration, and staff-training skills. Experience working in school or special education settings required. SMART Behavioral Health Services, LLC is an independently owned ABA practice serving Fairfield County, Connecticut & Westchester County, NY.
