Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting young learners as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming academic year. This contract position runs from August 20th through June 11th, providing consistent, rewarding work in early childhood and elementary settings with a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students in Pre-K through 5th grade. In this engaging environment, you will have the opportunity to directly influence positive behavioral, social, and academic changes for students. As an integral part of student support teams, your expertise will shape best practices and foster better learning experiences.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Current BCBA certification required Thorough understanding of behavioral assessment principles and intervention strategies Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively consult, coach, and collaborate with educators, staff, and families Ability to manage and prioritize multiple student cases Dedicated to cultivating supportive, inclusive learning environments Key responsibilities: Conduct functional behavioral assessments for students ages PK-5 Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans Provide ongoing consultation and training for teachers and school staff Participate actively in IEP and ESR meetings, contributing thoughtful behavioral expertise Collaborate with families to ensure consistency and promote student growth across environments Maintain documentation and progress monitoring for effective data-driven decision making This opportunity offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours during the school year.
