Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Empower students with your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an engaging school-based contract role near Hockessin, DE. In this position, you will collaborate closely with educators and support staff to help students achieve behavioral and academic goals in a dynamic learning environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current RBT certification in good standing Experience working with school-age children or adolescents Familiarity with implementing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills Ability to follow behavior intervention plans as directed by supervising clinicians Professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for supporting children
Key Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to carry out behavior intervention plans Support students individually or in small groups in the classroom and throughout the school environment Collect and accurately record behavioral data and observations Assist with skill building activities geared toward academic and social development Communicate regularly and effectively with teachers, families, and clinical supervisors Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all educational and ethical guidelines This is a contract opportunity ideal for individuals who excel in school settings and want to make a meaningful difference.
